1 December Getaway at Valea Verde – 2 Nights in the Heart of Transylvania

Two days off at the end of November: St Andrew’s Day and Romania’s National Day. A short but complete getaway to an authentic Saxon village in the heart of Transylvania: arrive on Sunday, St Andrew’s Eve, and leave on Tuesday after a festive 1 December brunch.

In between: a traditional lunch cooked in the cauldron, a workshop where we set wheat to sprout and bake kürtőskalács, a barbecue dinner with drinks included and a DJ party, with both evenings ending by the bonfire.

Day-by-day programme (indicative)

• Sunday, 29 November: arrival, 3-course welcome dinner, bonfire on St Andrew’s Eve
• Monday, 30 November – St Andrew’s Day: breakfast, traditional cauldron lunch, themed barbecue dinner with drinks included, DJ party, bonfire
• Tuesday, 1 December – National Day: breakfast and festive brunch, check-out
