WHY VALEA VERDE

At Valea Verde we've hosted hundreds of families — from christenings with grandparents, godparents and cousins running through the garden, to milestone birthdays celebrated with several generations at the same table. Every event gets the same care for detail as a wedding: an authentic setting, food cooked with local ingredients, and a team that handles everything, so you can simply be present with the people you love.

THE VENUE

The Valea Verde Lounge seats up to 120 guests across two connected rooms — suitable for both an intimate christening and a multi-generational family celebration. Outside, our two-hectare garden, overlooking the lake and the Transylvanian hills, gives children room to play and adults quiet corners to socialise.

FOOD & WINE

We cook with local, seasonal ingredients, many grown in our own garden. The menu can be adapted for multi-generational celebrations — from traditional dishes grandparents will love, to simpler options for the little ones. A generous buffet or a multi-course seated dinner is decided together with you, depending on the occasion.

ACCOMMODATION FOR YOUR GUESTS

Your family and friends can stay overnight right at Valea Verde — in the apartments in the main building, or in restored Saxon farmhouses in the village, a few minutes' walk away. Ideal especially for events with guests travelling from afar who'd like to turn the day into a full weekend.

SOMETHING FOR EVERY GENERATION

Children have a playground, an adventure park and board games; adults can unwind with a sauna or massage at the Spa Cabin, swim in the lake, or take a carriage ride. In the evening, a bonfire brings every generation together for stories.

Can the religious christening ceremony take place at Valea Verde, or only the party?

Valea Verde carefully hosts the celebration and family moments around the christening. For the religious ceremony itself, tell us how you imagine the day and we can help align the schedule with the church or priest chosen by your family.

Are there activities for children?
