Located right next to the village’s historic, 12th-century church, now no longer in use, Casa Parohială offers authentic and elegant accommodation, complete with a private fire pit area and two beautifully restored barns. Each of the eight rooms features handcrafted floors, ceilings, and furniture made from oak sourced from the nearby forests, all created in the Valea Verde carpentry workshop.
To enhance the rustic charm, each room is equipped with a traditional tile stove, handmade and hand-painted in Mediaș, complementing the central gas heating system. The Casa Parohială also provides modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi, TV, coffee machines, and a reliable, uninterrupted power supply.
A highlight of the house is the collection of stunning, wood-framed photographs by empathetic German photographer Johannes Arlt, who has beautifully captured the essence of life and nature in and around Cund.
