Our Garden

At the Valea Verde we place a huge emphasis on growing as much of our own produce as we can. We have several plots scattered all over the valley in which we grow vegetables from organic local and international seeds. We were amazed to discover the wide variety of produce one could grow - apart from the traditional local varieties of tomatons, eggplants, carrots, peppers, zuchine, pumpkins, cabbages etc., we managed to grow artichockes, coriander, fennel, kale, brussel sprouts and many other delicious vegetables.

Our menu is very much dominated by the perfect ripeness of those vegetables, so rest assured that when you have a tomato starter in our restauranbt you well experience an explosion of flavours as we pick the tomatoes from its vine just 30min before serving them!
